Print Design

Nov. 2020–Jan. 2021

This project began in an intermediate typography class and concluded in an optional winter internship supervised by Prof. Chang Kim. Our client was SJSU’s Design Department, working with all four program coordinators and department chair. The aim of the catalogue is to provide necessary program information, and showcase student and alumni works to incoming students and parents. The final result is a full color 9 x 12 inch catalogue consisting of 42 pages.

Final spreads were refined by Prof. Chang Kim for unity, consistency, and flow throughout the catalogue. The printed deliverable was given out at the SJSU Bookstore.

I was assigned 2 spreads, Alumni & Student Club and Community Engagement, from the Graphic Design Program section.

Jaerica created isometric letter templates to create an expressive symbol for each program section. I worked on Graphic Design and Industrial Design. I also photographed textures to experiment with as overlays.
